We talk about his struggle to learn English and how he FINALLY became fluent and confident. The big tip he gives other English learners is "just speak English!" Besides discussing his journey, we also talk about issues we see in traditional language education systems and methods that are more effective. One of my favorite parts in this interview is when Rene said that in this last year he has achieved several goals that he had been dreaming about since he was a kid... and that now he is setting NEW goals and going after NEW opportunities. He's a great example for English learners everywhere! "Don't worry about your mistakes," says Rene, "Just speak English and go after what you want!"
